PROJECT GUIDE
A Better Brief.
A Clearer Custom Order.
Use this guide to prepare a teamwear inquiry, compare options and confirm the details before production.

| Soccer and basketball uniforms | Jersey + shorts per set; normally 50 sets per order |
| Baseball jerseys and sports T-shirts | 10 pieces per style and 50 pieces per order; confirm any mixed-order arrangement |
| Printing | Integrated digital printing; fabric artwork printed at 1:1 scale |
| Sampling | Generally ready the day after design confirmation. Covered for a confirmed, paid order; alternatively, an advance order payment is credited against the subsequent bulk order. |
| Dispatch for eligible orders up to 500 individual garments; set orders quoted separately | Generally within 7 working days after sample approval, including scheduling. Shipping transit is additional. |
| OEM labels and packaging | Supported; share the requested label and packaging details |
| Fabric composition and weight | Confirmed by style in the quotation; the detailed fabric reference is being prepared |
Ask for the garment-specific fabric information and confirm the written order details before production.
Start with three simple steps.
01
Share your brief
Tell us the product, quantity, destination and required delivery date. Attach your logo or design references.
02
Confirm the details
Discuss styles, artwork, sizing, fabric requirements and quotation. Agree the approval steps before ordering.
03
Approve & produce
Confirm the final specifications and order terms before production. Coordinate packing and shipment for your project.
Prepare artwork that is clear to approve.
A useful artwork brief separates original assets from placement instructions. Share the original logo and design files you have; ask the team to confirm which file formats are suitable for the proposed production method.
| Asset | What to include | What to review |
|---|---|---|
| Club or brand logo | Original design file and a reference image | Correct logo version, proportions and colors |
| Sponsors | Separate logo files and the agreed list | Placement, relative size and any sponsor approval requirements |
| Player names / numbers | One current roster version | Spelling, capitalization, leading zeros and size mapping |
| Color references | Brand references and relevant reference samples if available | How the proposed garment colors will be reviewed before production |
| Garment views | Front/back and any required sleeve or shorts views | Which artwork applies to which panel and garment version |
A photograph or screenshot can communicate an idea, but it may not contain the original production artwork. Keep the approved artwork version with your final order details.
Prepare a size breakdown and player roster.
Ask for the measurement chart for the actual garment being quoted. Confirm how those measurements are taken and compare them with a suitable garment before allocating sizes. Keep jersey and shorts sizes in separate columns when ordering sets.
| Player / allocation | Name on garment | Number | Jersey size | Shorts size | Quantity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Example player A | MORGAN | 07 | To select | To select | 1 |
| Example spare | No player name | No number | To select | To select | 1 |
This is an example order format, not a published size chart or an actual customer roster. Replace it with your own allocation. For T-shirt orders, record shirt size and quantity without the shorts column.
Before approval, reconcile the roster total with the quantity by size. Identify home/away versions, staff shirts, spare pieces and any late additions separately.
Agree sample and production approval points.
A sample garment can generally be ready the day after design confirmation. Sampling is covered for a confirmed and paid order, or an advance order payment can be credited against the subsequent bulk order. Use the sample to review the agreed garment and artwork requirements.
| Approval item | Questions to settle |
|---|---|
| Artwork proof | Are names, numbers, logos, panel locations and versions correct? |
| Physical sample, if agreed | What can be checked for fit, fabric feel, print appearance and construction? |
| Size allocation | Does the final quantity-by-size list match the approved roster? |
| Packing and labels | Are any special labels, individual packs or carton marks included in the quote? |
| Production release | Which artwork, garment specification and commercial terms are approved? |
A sample garment can generally be ready the day after design confirmation. Sampling is covered for a confirmed and paid order. Alternatively, an advance order payment can be made and credited against the subsequent bulk order. Confirm the applicable payment and sample shipping arrangements in your quotation.
What affects a custom teamwear quotation?
Garment requirements
The selected garment combination, proposed fabric, construction details and size breakdown form part of the scope.
Artwork scope
The number of design versions, graphic placements and individual names or numbers need to be identified clearly.
Order arrangements
Quantity, agreed sampling, packaging, delivery destination and shipment arrangements are part of the project brief.
Ask for a quotation that identifies the agreed scope. A generic price without the garment and delivery details is difficult to compare with another offer.
How your custom teamwear is produced
- Design to the brief. Develop the artwork around the customer’s requirements.
- Customer design confirmation. Confirm the artwork before moving to production preparation.
- Full-scale digital printing. Print the fabric artwork at 1:1 scale.
- Automated laser cutting. Cut the printed fabric into the required garment panels precisely.
- Hanging-system assembly. Use the overhead garment hanging system to route panels through garment assembly.
- Finished-garment inspection. Inspect the completed garments.
- Pressing and packing. Press and pack the garments.
- Outbound inspection and dispatch. Perform the final outbound check before shipment.

For clubs, schools, distributors and event buyers.
Private-label soccer uniforms and baseball jerseys
For brands and distributors, InkSportPro supports OEM labels and packaging on agreed custom teamwear orders. Specify your label artwork, placement and packing requirements alongside the garment brief. Confirm the materials, sample, quantities and commercial scope before production.
For a club or community team, start with custom soccer uniform sets or custom baseball jerseys. Team names, sponsor logos and player numbers belong in the artwork and roster; they do not require a private-label program.
Soccer and basketball uniforms are ordered as jersey-and-shorts sets, normally from 50 sets per order. Baseball jerseys and sports T-shirts are counted individually; their standard minimum is 10 pieces per style and 50 pieces per order. Ask us to confirm mixed styles, trousers and repeat-order quantities in your quotation.
